Domestic and residential
fire sprinkler systems can aid compliance with Building Regulations,
the RRO and the Housing Act.
The Homesafe Group is the UK’s market leader in sprinkler

From seven regional offices, Homesafe works closely with architects,
developers, housing associations and occupier groups on new

Sprinkler systems provide active fire protection and their
installation may reduce the requirement for passive fire protection
measures such as internal fire doors and the use of fire retardant
materials in the building structure. Clients are delighted
with how unobtrusive the systems can be, and with some of
the architectural design freedoms they are able to generate.
In the event of a fire, only those sprinkler heads close to
the fire will activate. It is estimated that 10-20 times less
water will be discharged onto the fire than from a fire service
hose. The fire and smoke damage will be significantly less
than in an unsprinklered dwelling.

loss of income in the event of fire, since damage is so minimal.
